The location is perfect - it's so close to the train station and in a very good location. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was very convenient having an elevator (the first floor is stairs though but it's spacious so you can take your time). The room was alright... not the best... we even got one that was supposedly remodeled and it was alright. It had a mini-fridge and was semi-spacious. The walls looked dirty and wasn't nice. The shower floor looked dirty too. The room was clean though, it just looked dirty and gross. The shower was nice and hot - I loved that it was a waterfall shower. It was powerful and nice. The cleaning staff were all very friendly. We had a balcony but I didn't use it. The room was facing the back and it was very quiet. So that was a plus because I read other hotels were very loud - ours was very quiet and we slept nice. The AC was strong and good. The room felt muggy though when you first walk in. The location is great - walking distance to a lot of major attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby. A souvenir shop right next to the hotel that sold water, snacks, etc. which was convenient since it was open late. Overall... it was alright. The location is great so you can't beat that, but not sure I'd stay here again. For the price, I expected the rooms to be nicer.

The hotel was located perfectly for my needs with public transport of trains, trams and buses all within 5 mins walk from the hotel. The river was 15 mins walk away and there were plenty of restaurants nearby from upmarket places such as Poro 4050 to McDonalds. The hotel buffet breakfast was basic but was ample to start the day with fresh bread rolls, meats and cheeses, cereals, juices and hot coffee. One of the free walking tours started right outside the hotel. If you want a clean, tidy, friendly and basic comfortable hotel this is the place to stay.

I stayed here solo after walking Camino Portoguese. Excellent budget priced hotel in centre of Porto. Hotel, reception, room, bed, shower were all excellent and spotless. with tv and aircon. The hotel is a short walking distance to Porto Cathedral, Torre dos Clergios, Sao Bento Railway Station and a nice stretch of the legs to the Duoro River, Luis I Bridge and other attractions. The Metro at Trindade is 7 mins walk to take to airport. Shops, restaurants and other services are nearby even one of the busiest MacDonalds i've ever seen a few doors down.

Very central location of the city, extremely close to the train station and metro station, all main sights are in walking distance. The staff was very helpful and kind, room had very good size (bigger size), looked decent and modern, bathroom renovated, the elevator is a huge advantage. Bathroom was very clean (generally room and all was cleaned daily) and the room had even a balcony and little fridge. We were very satisfied.

The location of this hotel was excellent. Very close to sao bento station and metro. Staff were friendly and helpful. Communication was very good. There are only stairs to the reception and a limited mobility chair lift, first floor upwards had a lift. That was a bit of a nuisance, but worth struggling with in exchange for the location. Fair amount of choice for cold buffet breakfast which was 9 euros.
